Junior Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications and web portals.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, and compatibility testing.
• Validate API responses using basic tools like Postman (optional but preferred).
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, Trello, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Review and understand requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing within defined timelines.
• Ensure the product meets quality standards across different devices, browsers, and environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manual testing of mobile apps and web portals.
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• Ability to create clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Basic understanding of API testing is a plus.
• Familiar with tools like Jira, TestRail, Trello, Postman, BrowserStack (optional).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product teams.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
