Finance Lead

Experience: 3–4 years

Location: Bengaluru India

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
    • Maintain accurate financial records of the company.
    • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare and maintain the general ledger.
    • Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
  2. Financial Reporting
    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Generate reports for management, such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  3. GST & Tax Compliance
    • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
    • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, and other applicable regulations.
  4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
    • Manage supplier/vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
    • Monitor and follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances.
  5. Payroll & Employee Expenses
    • Assist in processing payroll and employee reimbursements.
    • Maintain records of advances, loans, and other employee financial transactions.
  6. Audits & Compliance
    • Assist internal and external auditors during audits.
    • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal control procedures.
  7. Financial Analysis & Budgeting
    • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
    • Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
  8. Other Responsibilities
    • Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
    • Coordinate with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders as required.
    • Support senior accountants or finance managers in ad-hoc finance projects.
