Role Overview
We are looking for a resource to support data archival activities in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) using the Solix platform. The role involves executing archival configurations, monitoring system performance during archival runs, and collaborating closely with the DBA team to ensure minimal business impact.
Key Responsibilities}
Execute data archival processes in Oracle EBS using Solix based on defined configurations.
Work closely with DBAs to monitor system performance and identify any impact during archival runs. Validate archival jobs, ensure data integrity, and support reconciliation activities.
Assist in identifying archival candidates across EBS modules and understanding data dependencies.
Troubleshoot issues related to archival jobs, performance, or data consistency.
Maintain documentation for archival procedures, execution logs, and outcomes.
Support testing cycles and provide inputs for optimization of archival configurations.
Required Skills & Experience
Basic to intermediate Proficiency in PL/SQL (queries, scripts, and debugging).
Understanding with Oracle EBS (any modules such as Finance, SCM, Order Management, etc.). Understanding of database concepts, data archival, and data lifecycle management.
Ability to work with DBAs on performance monitoring and issue resolution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
Exposure to Solix or similar data archival platforms.
Understanding of EBS data model and cross-module dependencies.
Experience in large-scale data management, purging, or archival initiatives.
Familiarity with performance tuning concepts in Oracle databases.
